El objetivo es poder aumentar el rendimiento metal\u00fargico durante este paso, en especial cuando se tiene minerales de baja ley con alta presencia de arcillas, que es una problem\u00e1tica que hoy viven muchos yacimientos.<\/p>\n<p>Debido a eso, los tratamientos que se requieren durante el proceso minero son cada vez m\u00e1s complejos, afectando el rendimiento en la flotaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de generar un incremento del consumo de agua y de reactivos para el procesamiento del mineral, lo que repercute en una mayor huella h\u00eddrica.<\/p>\n<h2>Sus declaraciones<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cEl desarrollo de esta investigaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 lograr mejores herramientas para el control del proceso y repercutir\u00e1 en la reducci\u00f3n del consumo de agua. Por otra parte, podremos tener un mayor conocimiento sobre la factibilidad del uso de nuevos reactivos para la flotaci\u00f3n, como son las nanopart\u00edculas\u201d, explic\u00f3 la acad\u00e9mica.<\/p>\n<p>La profesora agreg\u00f3 que, \u201cel proyecto aportar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n a la reducci\u00f3n del consumo de reactivos en el proceso de flotaci\u00f3n, dado que una peque\u00f1a dosis agregada de estas nanopart\u00edculas es suficiente para lograr la recuperaci\u00f3n del mineral de inter\u00e9s\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abPor otra parte, existe un aporte social que se relaciona al capital humano que formamos y en paralelo al desarrollo de investigaciones orientadas a una miner\u00eda sustentable. El ideal que se pretende lograr es la implementaci\u00f3n de lo propuesto a nivel industrial\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>Centro multidisciplinario<\/h2>\n<p>El proyecto es parte de una investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia realizada por el Centro de Recursos H\u00eddricos para la Agricultura y la Miner\u00eda (CRHIAM), un espacio multidisciplinario de excelencia que cuenta con financiamiento basal por parte de la Agencia Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo (ANID).<\/p>\n<p>El grupo incluye a especialistas de las Universidades de Concepci\u00f3n y del B\u00edo-B\u00edo, quienes buscan desarrollar esta \u00e1rea de la industria minera, avanzando en una completa teor\u00eda sobre flotaci\u00f3n, que incluye modelos matem\u00e1ticos, determinaci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros, validaci\u00f3n experimental, dise\u00f1o, nuevas tendencias en reactivos, adem\u00e1s de contribuir a disminuir la huella h\u00eddrica del proceso de concentraci\u00f3n de cobre y molibdeno.<\/p>\n<h2>Universidad de Talca<\/h2>\n<p>Lina Uribe destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la contribuci\u00f3n que realiza la Universidad de Talca a este proyecto, \u201ca trav\u00e9s del capital humano de pre y postgrado, que aporta mediante el desarrollo de la investigaci\u00f3n, y por otra parte, mediante las instalaciones que existen en la Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda Civil de Minasa de esta Instituci\u00f3n.
